Hi, I’m Rhiannan
Registered Nurse. Credentialled Diabetes Educator. I also live with type 1 diabetes, so I have been on both sides of the question parents keep asking me: what do I actually do if something happens?
I live it, and I teach it
I am a Registered Nurse and a Credentialled Diabetes Educator. I also live with type 1 diabetes. I know the 3am alarms, and I know what it looks like from the other side of the bed.
I kept hearing the same thing
Parents, partners, teachers, all asking the same question. Not how do I manage this, but what do I actually do if something goes wrong. I had nowhere simple to send them.
The worry I see everywhere
Scroll any parents forum and you will find the same fear, written a hundred different ways. A general first aid course does not cover diabetes, so people are left guessing at the moment it matters most.
So I made it
In Time Diabetes First Aid is the answer I wish I could have handed over years ago. Plain language, real situations, and no expectation that you become an expert in somebody else's condition.
“I see so many people who genuinely want to support someone living with diabetes, but don’t know where to turn when they need practical help. I created In Time Diabetes to make diabetes first aid simpler, more accessible and less intimidating.”

What I believe
- Empowered, not frightened. Fear makes people freeze.
- You do not need a medical background to help someone.
- Knowing what to do changes how the moment ends.
Start where it counts
The free training is open now. It takes one module to feel steadier than you did this morning.
